Revamped Community
We have been getting many requests not to make the community dependent on courses since many of you don’t need courses to manage your followers, but need a place to connect with them.
We heard you. Now you can create a public community without even creating courses! But of course, the course-driven community is there as well.
So how does it work?
All you have to do is enable the addon for Community from the Addons and you’ll be able to create your own public/private community.
Build Meaningful Spaces in Your Community
You can now create and manage Spaces as well whether they’re linked to a course or built for open discussions.
This means you can:
- Group your members based on courses, cohorts, or interests
- Create exclusive spaces for premium learners
- Or simply host topic-based groups to foster engagement
Think of it as your private social hub – where learners actually connect, share, and grow together.
Channel Management Within Spaces
Inside every Space, you can now create Channels for focused discussions.
If you want a “General” chat, a “Fun Discussions” thread, or a “Project Feedback” channel, you can create it in one click.
It’s all about giving structure to conversations so your learners stay engaged without getting overwhelmed.
Member Management for Channels
Just like any other community we offer advanced member management. You can manage members within each channel – decide who gets access, promote moderators, and keep discussions relevant.
No more chaos. Just organized, purposeful community interaction.
Courses for Channels
Even when you create community without courses, you can actually assign courses inside spaces.
So, when you have multiple course types, it’s possible to create separate spaces for all of them, and your members won’t see the other spaces.
Bricks Builder Integration
If you love designing your site with Bricks Builder, this update is for you. Creator LMS now integrates with Bricks.
