You can set up different types of marketing automation using both WPFunnels and Mail Mint.
First, make sure of these:
- You have the free versions of WPFunnels and Mail Mint installed & activated on your site.
- WPFunnels Pro is installed & the license key is active.
- Mail Mint Pro is installed & the license key is active.
- You have set up some Tags or Lists in Mail Mint for your contact list.
- You have at least one automation-type email campaign prepared.
- You have one sale funnel prepared.
Now follow these steps below to set up marketing automation using WPFunnels & Mail Mint.
1. Open your funnel on funnel canvas and you’ll see a (+) icon below your funnel steps to Add Automation.
Let’s Add Automation for the Landing step.
2. It will open an automation window for you. Click on “Select A Starting Point” and you’ll see the triggers for the Landing step.
Let’s choose the “Optin Submitted” trigger for this guide.
3. The next step is to add an action to this automation. Let’s select “Add To List” for that.
You may choose other actions available according to your need.
4. Click on the action and it will open a drawer from the side. There you can choose list(s) for adding contacts.
5. Then you can add another action like “Send Email” or “Assign tag“.
6. Configure your tag as well, choose tag(s) for contacts.
7. After setting up your automation for the landing step, go back to the funnel canvas. There you’ll see “Automation Running” tag below the Landing step.
If you click on the Edit icon, you can edit the automation you’ve set up.
8. While editing, if you want to delete the automation, click on the 3 dots icon at the top right corner and then click on Delete.
9. Now, go back to the funnel canvas and set up automation for the Checkout step.
10. Here are the triggers for the Checkout step. Create the automation according to your needs.
11. After that, set up automation for your Upsell step.
12. Here are the triggers for the Upsell step. Create the automation according to your needs.
13. Now if you have a Downsell step, set up automation for that too.
14. Here are the triggers for the Downsell step. Create the automation according to your needs.
