Follow the step-by-step instructions below to set up bounce handling with Postal Server.
Step 1: Set up Bounce Handler and Copy the URL
Go to Mail Mint -> Settings -> Email Sending
Scroll down below and enable Bounce Handling.
Select Postal Server from the dropdown and copy the bounce tracking Webhook URL.
Step 2: Log in to your Postal Server Account
log in to your account or create a new Postal Server. Then navigate to the Webhooks settings section. Here you’ll see:
Name: Enter a name to identify these Webhooks.
URL: Paste the Webhook URL that you copied from your Mail Mint.
Enabled: Here you’ll pick Yes- send requests to this webhook.
Events: In this events section, you’ll choose which requests to send. After that, scroll down and select MessageDeliveryFailed and Message Bounced by ticking the boxes.
Now, click on the Save Webhook to save your webhook settings.
To view bounced contacts in your Mail Mint, go to Contacts. Then, click on the Status filter and check the Bounced checkbox.
You will now see all the bounced contacts.
