Follow the step-by-step instructions below to set up bounce handling with SMTP2GO.
Step 1: Set up Bounce Handler and Copy the URL
Go to Mail Mint -> Settings -> Email Sending
Scroll down below and enable Bounce Handling.
Select SMTP2GO from the dropdown and copy the bounce tracking Webhook URL.
Step 2: Set Up Webhook in SMTP2GO
Now log in to your account or create a new SMTP2GO Server. Then navigate to the Settings>Webhooks settings section and click Add Webhook.
Here appears a pop-up Add New Webhook. Here you’ll see:
URL: Paste the Webhook URL that is copied from your Mail Mint Websites.
Events: Check the Bounce box for bounce handling.
Headers: Enter a header that you want to be sent explicitly to event data.
Now, Save your webhook settings and use the Test button to ensure the setup works.
To view bounced contacts in your Mail Mint, go to Contacts. Then, click on the Status filter and check the Bounced checkbox.
You will now see all the bounced contacts.
